I live in Germany and had had several tests and been told I had high testosterone levels. I’d been put on Clomifen for 6 months and that hadn’t worked.

Reading your book was the first time I had ever heard of PCOS. I recognised so many of the symptoms that I asked my doctor if I had PCOS and she confirmed it (I never got round to finding out why she hadn’t told me in the first place). I suddenly felt that I had answers to so many questions I’d always had about my health. Since then I bought a couple of books on PCOS and joined verity as recommended in your book. I have changed my diet to the low GI diet – similar to the diet you recommend. My partner has been great and pretty much follows the diet with me too.

The result is that after almost 2 years of trying for a baby and having made an appointment at an IVF clinic, I am now 14 weeks pregnant – and still in shock, but very happy.

I never normally write into websites, but the information in your book has had such an impact on me that I had to write to thank you. I’m now recommending the book to friends who are also having problems.”
